Who Are We?!

Who are we in Christ? Who are You in Christ? Have you ever wondered about these questions? Sometimes, life tries to tell you who you are; situations all around us try to define us-- However, that is not who we really are (We are also not what people say we are).

We find our identity in Christ, and we are who He says we are. Let us explore what the Lord tells us about ourselves in Him. Let us voyage together into the Word to find out who we are! Are you ready? :)

We are a New Creation!

2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Galatians 2:20 ESV

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Ephesians 4:24 ESV

And to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Romans 6:4 ESV

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

We are created for a Purpose

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We are created in Him!

We are alive in Him!

We are created for Excellence!

There is no Condemnation

Romans 8:1 ESV

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

There is Boldness in us!

We are Set Apart!

We are Beautiful!

Psalm 139:14 ESV

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

We are Winning!

Romans 8:37 ESV

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Revelation 12:11 ESV

And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
